Today we are proud to introduce another one of our wonderful Ambassadors – Sarah Canney! You may already be following her on twitter or instagram. She’s been featured in Women’s Running Magazine – how’s that for HUGE?
Sarah Canney, a stay-at-home mom of two, is the girl behind RunFarGirl.com, where she blogs about all things related to running and motherhood. Sarah has chronicled her pregnancy and postpartum running journey in detail and offers tips and advice to other “mother runners.”
Sarah ran her first marathon in 2003 and has run seven marathons since then, plus a slew of 5K’s, 10k’s and half marathons in between. She is often competitive in her age group and recently was the first female at a local 5K with a time of 21:15. For Sarah, running is a meditative action that helps her stay balanced, it is also the means to make a difference as she runs to support the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock in New Hampshire. Please welcome Alyssa, our latest For Two Fitness Ambassador! Alyssa is the mom of two young girls, and is excited to have number 3 on the way. She keeps fit during pregnancy and postnatal times by walking, practicing yoga, and doing low impact strength training.
