One of the joys of having a company like For Two Fitness® is that our customers keeps in touch and share their stories. We get to read the wonderful  messages from husbands, soon-to-be-grandparents, and friends that accompany gift orders, which often bring tears to our eyes.   We get in on the schemes to wear our apparel to a family gathering, thereby announcing the big news!  One customer contacted us to exchange the “Running for Two” she bought her marathon-loving friend who was now on bedrest and very depressed.  She sent this mama “We Need a Nap” instead, and brightened her day a little, and was thoughtful enough to tell us about it, too. We receive tweets and Facebook notes telling us about accomplishments (half-marathons, triathlons- our ladies do it all!), and we feel like part of an amazing community.
 
The goal of this blog project is the bring that community to the mama-to-be public.   Instead of being the sole recipient of these stories, we wanted to be able to share them with all of you.  Our hope is to create a place filled with stories from women who have been there, to inspire and encourage each other.  Here, you’ll find posts of amazing achievements, posts about being sidelined from favorite activities due to medical circumstances, and expert tips about nutrition and exercise during pregnancy.  We are always interested in guest contributors  (if all goes according to plan, you’ll hear directly from us only rarely) so please contact us if you have something to share.  And of course, as we grow our community, we also hope to provide a repository of resources and links that you’ll enjoy browsing.
