I am a currently SAHM so I can raise my babies but I'm also a Registered Nurse (I keep my license active) and yoga teacher.
For this fit pregnancy, I love running/walking and low weight/high rep strength training (whether it's lifting weights or barre). When I was postpartum with my 1st, I got back into shape with 12 weeks of 20 minute HIIT at-home workouts (to prep for more intense lifting/running) so I plan to do the same after this baby.
Fitness is a journey! I love changing my workouts every few months and keeping my body guessing. The 2 things that don't change: running for cardio and yoga for mind/body/flexibility, but cross training activities change and is important for balance and injury prevention.
I'm a former NFL cheerleader (Go Falcons). I also served in the Navy Nurse Corp. I have 2 Bachelors degrees (Exercise Science and Nursing).
You can find me on Instagram: movementisbliss and I keep a blog of my fitness journey at movementisbliss.com.
