Hi Fit Moms! We are pleased and excited to introduce you to one of our newest Fit Mom Ambassadors, Eva Kolibal. Read more to learn about Eva’s journey and find out where you can follow her for daily motivation, yummy recipes and yoga videos!
My name is Eva. I’m the mother of two beautiful children, a prenatal yoga instructor, outdoor lover and health nut. My passion for the prenatal journey was ignited, when I was pregnant with my son Jakob (who is now almost 3 years old). I had a wonderful pregnancy with very little discomforts, and I loved everything about it. Giving birth left me feeling empowered and proud of my body and its abilities. I partially credit being physically active during my entire pregnancy, and eating a clean and healthy diet for this beautiful experience.
Shortly after my son was born, I started teaching prenatal yoga, and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. I love the energy of unborn babies and the community of moms-to-be. And I love accompanying moms on their prenatal journeys and giving them tools for a healthy pregnancy and an empowering birth experience.
A few months ago, a friend suggested that I should start a blog to share my knowledge, which has become a passion ever since. I love to have a platform where I can connect with like-minded moms, who are interested in staying healthy and fit during pregnancy and beyond. I also believe that it truly takes a village to raise our children, but since we rarely live in communities where child rearing is a shared task, we need to broaden our sense of community.
You can find me at www.YogaMamaBlog.com, where I share my own experiences of pregnancy, birth and motherhood, healthy recipes, pre-and postnatal yoga videos, and much more. I’d also love to connect with you on Facebook @YogaMamaBlog, Instagram @YogaMamaBlog, Twitter @YogaMamaEva, and Pinterest @EvaYogaMama.
