I’ve always loved to exercise, but didn’t become serious about it until after having my son, Hudson. Having a child changed my view point on exercise and health in ways I couldn’t of imagined. I wanted to make sure I was in shape to take care of, provide for, and be an active participant in my sons life. So I started taking my health seriously. I got my ACE certification, started training myself on nutrition, and began to really nourish and train my body. With a mix of weight-lifting, kickboxing, and running I became a new woman! I’ve completed two Tough Mudders and a sprint triathlon since then – achievements I never thought we’re possible. After seeing the changes my body made, and feeling the difference as well, I couldn’t wait to help other women.
I have my own personal training company in which I focus on women’s fitness- postpartum in particular. I love helping women regain their confidence and love their bodies again! Besides being a wife and mother, it is the most rewarding job I could imagine.
I also have a blog in which I post my exercise routines, as well as routines with your children, and our favorite healthy eating recipes! You can find me on my blog at happilyhughes.com
