We are honored to have some amazing For Two Fitness Fit Mom Ambassadors. Over the next few months, we will be featuring several of these ladies in an “Ambassador Spotlight” post so you can get to know them too!
Today, we want you to meet fit mom ambassador Amanda Fox!
Ambassador name: Amanda L. Fox; www.beafitfox.com
What is the theme of your blog?
Clean eating and working out while working full time and being a new mom! It’s hard at times but definitely doable!
How many kiddos do you have?
1- A 9 month old baby boy!
What do you do for a living?
I am a Contract Manufacturing National Account Manager for Schreiber Foods and travel domestically 2X per month. I work full time, from my in-home office.
What is your favorite fit pregnancy or postpartum workout?
My favorite fit pregnancy AND postpartum workout is yoga. It was a staple during my pregnancy and I believe helped with healing post pregnancy and getting my body back in shape (it is still a work in progress).
What is your favorite food?
Ground turkey breast mixed with black beans and salsa! YUM! Clearly, I like to keep it simple.
Do you have any hobbies?
Hiking during the spring/summer months and skiing (my husband snowboards) during the winter months! We just love being outside and so does little Liam!
Where is your favorite vacation destination?
We’ve been to Fiji and Peru and honestly, it completely depends on what you want to do. For Fiji, we wanted to relax and at Peru, we wanted adventure. We have also thoroughly enjoyed a Sedona, AZ vacation where we did yoga in the Red Rocks! Apparently, I don’t have a favorite!
What other interesting facts would you like to share with our readers?
I became a first time mom shortly before turning 30. I was a power lifter. I hope to one day write a book on how to juggle traveling for work and raising an infant (all the while breastfeeding-visualize pumping in airport bathrooms…it had to be done). I met my husband at a cheese factory. I have 3 tattoos- 2 are spiritual and the other is my last name in Japanese (my husband has the same). I’m a Texas A&M Aggie, Class of ’06. I can pull out my uvula (the hangy thing in the back of your throat-disgusting, I know, but interesting).
